Treatment ApproachI am a licensed clinical psychologist working in private practice in New York and New Jersey. As a therapist, I foster a collaborative, trusting environment so you can make the changes you want in your life. My aim is to partner with people to identify and break down the barriers preventing them from achieving their life goals. I use a cognitive-behavioral approach, combining acceptance-based strategies, mindfulness, and goal-oriented techniques. This type of therapy is focused on solving problems and reducing or managing distressing symptoms.
I work with adults and adolescents with a variety of anxiety, mood, and personality disorders. I also focus on relationship and work challenges, and I work with both couples and families. I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), having been trained by a renowned expert in Exposure and Response Prevention. |
Educational Background & Training
I received my B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have worked with clients in both outpatient and hospital settings, and I have been trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy techniques, and mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies.
